UAC is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as a distributor for market leader Lappset in England and Scotland.
As a result of the deal, UAC Group owners Bill and Mary Hatch have announced Nicky Agnew as their new Scottish Play Advisor while Ken Shortt will carry out the same role in England.
Lappset UK Managing Director Chris Jones said: “We are delighted to be working with the UAC Group. Established for over 10 years, it is a family-owned and run firm just like Lappset. The two companies share the same values and beliefs, which gives us complete confidence that our partnership will be a long and successful one.”
Lappset, which has its UK headquarters in Kettering, Northamptonshire, has been established for 20 years. In that time it has established itself as one of the leading European manufacturers of playground equipment.
We have now introduced Mobi-Fence to complement our Mobi-Mat range of mats. Mobi-Fence facilitates control of drifting sand to keep pathways clear and can help to stabilise sensitive sand dunes.
Nantwich & Border Counties Sailing Club are trialling Mobi-Mat as a replacement for their aluminium decking slipway.
We have a few new additions to the UAC team - Neil Lockie is our new financial controller, overseeing all financial aspects of the business.
We also have Emma Lang, our new Sales Administrator who will be focusing on marketing aspects of the business.
